Batik Tulis Lintang Malang
We are a batik producer based in Malang Regency, Indonesia. We are constantly innovating our products. We are known for our iconic Tlogosari tree pattern and dedication to traditional craftsmanship.
Founded in 2013 by Ita Fitriyah, Batik Tulis Lintang grows as a passionate venture into the world of batik. With a background in textile engineering from Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang, Ita’s journey began at a major batik-making event named Batik Raksasa at Universitas Ma Chung. This experience has ignited a deep interest in batik, leading her to further training and making batik for personal needs. As time has passed, Ita has shared her newfound expertise with her neighbors. Through this initiative, Ita has helped women and housewives in her community by deftly teaching them new skills that enhance financial independence and positively impact women’s empowerment.
She even opens batik classes for children so that they have a pervasive sense of pride in their cultural heritage. As a result, Indonesian batik heritage persists across generations.
She often researches ancient patterns found in her surroundings to remind people of the importance of history, capturing these motifs in beautiful batik designs.
Currently, Batik Tulis Lintang produces various innovative and high-quality types of batik, sold through exhibitions, workshops, and orders from government and private institutions.
Based in Perum Gpa Blok F 32, Perun Gpa, Ngijo, Karang Ploso, Malang Regency, we have complete production facilities in East Java. With a vision to preserve and promote Indonesia’s batik heritage, we focus on high-quality, artistically valuable, and culturally meaningful products.
